There was never one place to look.
On campus, someone is always looking for something.
A specific laptop. A specific phone screen. A game controller. Most at times they already know exactly what they want, but they do not know where to find it.
People would ask me, “Do you know where I can get this?”
Most of the time, I did not.
And sometimes, I was also looking for something myself.
Selling had the same problem.
I once had a hot plate and a few gadgets I was no longer using. They still worked, so throwing them away made no sense. My friends did not need them either. I knew someone somewhere in Cape Coast could probably use them, but I had no simple way to find that person.
So they just stayed there.
That is the problem Ogua is trying to solve.
Ogua gives people in Cape Coast one place to see what others around them are selling.
If you have something you no longer need, you can list it.
If you are looking for something, you can search for it.
Shops in Cape Coast can list their items here too.
Ogua does not sell the items or take payment for them. It simply helps buyers and sellers find each other.
When you find something you want, you contact the seller, agree on a safe place to meet, inspect the item yourself, and only pay when you are satisfied.
Simple.
Something you need might already be right here in Cape Coast.
Now there is one place to look.
